I am a woman who owns my means of production. I own my Instagram, my Sony A6000, my iPhone, my notebook, and most importantly – my ideas.
I am a creative, seek out new opportunities, and work outside the lines.
I am a sleuth who looks to solve mysteries and find new places.
I live to share, I work to play, I love to chat, and I am the Petite Bourgeoisie Socialite.
I am here to write about the happenings and spots of New York.
To preface, here’s a brief introduction:
I’m 23 years young.
I graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York where I was an American Studies major and Theater minor.
I have had five jobs since I graduated in May 2021, and now it is September 2022. The first job I held was at the ad agency, BBDO, where I worked as an Assistant Account Executive supporting the ExxonMobil Corporate team. I was at BBDO from July 2021 to October 2021. My second job was at a postproduction house, Technicolor Postworks where I worked in Client Services and as a Project Manager. I was at Technicolor Postworks from October 2021 to November 2021 due to work complications and mental challenges. The third job was at another postproduction house, Pivotal Post where I worked in Client Services and as a Facilities Manager from December 2021 to February 2022. The fourth job was at ANOTHER postproduction house, Picture Shop where I worked in Client Services from February 2022 to May 2022. The fifth job that I presently occupy is as the Events Administrator for the management consulting firm, McKinsey & Company. I started at McKinsey & Company in July 2022, and absolutely love it.
Outside of work, I run my own private events company, Label, a creative community that connects people through events. I founded the company with my rock, Ryan Keenan who I met while working on a film festival organized by New People’s Cinema Club, a “California 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to promoting and developing transgressive and discounted art and film.” I work adjacent to New People’s Cinema Club and help out with events when the opportunity is there. I occasionally provide services in Costume Design and Production Design for independent films and support the creative industries wholeheartedly.
So that’s me (a peek inside).
I look forward to writing to you as the Petite Bourgeoisie Socialite about the universe’s greatest city and thank you for being here.
